The journal movements collects scientific, activist and artistic confrontations with migration and border regimes. It promotes the exchange between scientific analyses and the migration movement, thus being a platform for the political debate about our societies in motion. This issue focuses on various facets of the EUropean migration politics that are only rarely analyzed regarding their interactions: the debates about internal migration within the EU and social rights as well as the dynamics of border and asylum politics since the crisis of the border regime of 2015/2016. The journal is published by transcript Publishing House as a print version as well as online under www.movements-journal.org as Open Access.
